I agree - and if it is lost, then the chance of any further electoral reform is basically zero - it's taken 100 years to get this referendum, how many centuries before the next?!
One side will claim further reform is more likely with a No vote, the other will claim further reform is more likely with a Yes vote.
I personally think a Yes vote will show there is apetite for change - so the next question will be is the hunger sated - if not, then reform will keep going.
You have to make up your own mind.
As it happens I am pro AV but anti-PR - as I explain on my blog.
